I swear the music department is like a real life reality-show, except without all the cameras. Seriously people, can you go 1 frikin' minute (sorry Mary...lol) without sharing juicy gossip with EVERYONE you see?? I'm not even kidding when I say there is a heirarchy of social cliques. I thought highschool was bad... Every time I go to rehearsal, or have a performance, I feel absolutely naseaus with stress. And every time I overhear someone talking negatively about me, when they don't think I'm listening, yeah, maybe it should be water off my back, but it's not, and I end up going out to my car after rehearsal crying, and a mess.
I hate drama.
I'm sorry Danae people are stupid, we missed you today! We want to get together once a week if that works for you. Hope your week goes better!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you are talking about. When I was doing my masters there, it became even more apparent just how much drama there is---among the faculty!!
